Intro to Windows:
This class will introduce students to
the most popular operating system today, MS Windows.
The class will teach the students the differences between file
names and extensions, icons, fields, buttons, and the command lines.
It will also show them how to navigate using the Graphical User
Interface (GUI). Length: 4

Intro to the WWW:
This class will introduce students to
the most talked about part of the Internet, the World Wide Web.
The students will learn about web browsers. The differences between a local file and a remote file, file
formats, URL, Domain naming and their extensions, WebPages, links, and
desktops, and servers. The
students will also learn how to navigate and search for information and
participate in discussions within community groups.

Intro to Email:
This class will introduce students to
today’s most popular means of communication, the email.
Students will learn the structure of an email address and the
different software that can be use. They
will also learn how to create, send, edit, reply, save, print, and delete
an email. Students will also
create personal email accounts using free web base email services such as
Yahoo.com. Length 4 hours.
Intro to Word for Win:
This
class will introduce students to the word processor MicroSoft Word for
Windows. In this class
students will learn how to create, format, save, print and publish a
document to the Internet. Length
4 hours.
